The JoGo Barging vision is that a small organisation can generate considerable added value in a niche market. The transport of pallets, Big Bags and general cargo using inland vessels shall become such a “niche market” in the coming 7 to 10 years.
JoGo Barging has the know-how to capitalise on this niche market and has already developed various projects that are now ready for practical introduction.
For a new-built or conversion project we analyse the investment and the financial risks and we discuss this with the client. The ultimate financing depends on the various options that arise during the discussions between the various stakeholders in such a project.
In addition to ships, push-barges also represent excellent alternatives and additional benefits for the transport of pallets, Big Bags and general cargo.
JoGo Barging aims to develop a high-performance push-tug that focuses on the market for ARA (Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp) traffic. The CREDO has been acquired for this purpose so that practical experience can be gained about how a modern and environmentally-friendly push-tug needs to be designed.
Our mission is to offer interested parties the opportunity to invest in innovative building projects that are both profitable and which promote the transportation of goods by inland vessels and to do so from various angles of approach and by utilising our know-how.
In this way, JoGo Barging also aims to contribute towards corporate social responsibility.
With its Short Sea activities, JoGo Shipping aims to be able to offer an additional service to its clients already using the Logistic Services of JoGo Logistics.
The vision of Short Sea Shipping is that as a result of the major developments within inland shipping, Short Sea activities shall also increase considerably to destinations such as England and the west coast of France, Spain and the Scandinavian countries. Because of the larger volumes that Short Sea vessels are generally able to carry consolidated cargo can be configured for specific destinations.
Our vision has resulted in the acquisition of the TIME.
By acquiring several Short Sea vessels, JoGo Short Sea aims to be able to offer fixed sailings to various destinations for both complete cargoes and consolidated cargoes.
JoGo Short Sea Shipping also provides the general chartering of coasters to Denmark, Poland, Sweden and Norway via extensive collaboration with Ewald Müller from Hamburg.
Our mission is to offer interested parties the opportunity to invest in innovative building projects that are both profitable and which promote the transportation of goods by Short Sea vessels and to do so from various angles of approach and by utilising our know-how.
